Mission Statement
We feed poor and hungry families in and around San Felipe. We use volunteers to distribute rice, beans, flour, sugar, cooking oil and canned goods to these families.
Another great product from Cincopa We collect food, store it and package the bulk items and deliver to the hungry. The food bank will be the source for food to all existing programs now operating in San Felipe.
The food bank of San Felipe seeks donations of food and funds from the private and public sector. We have two (2) food drives each year to help feed the hungry people of San Felipe. We have established food drop off locations and posters are visible at these locations.
This will allow food drops at all times. All members of the Food Bank of San Felipe offer their efforts as volunteers only and will not receive compensations. The food bank of San Felipe plans to establish an advisory board to assist us with our programs.
We are seeking help from church groups, local governmental agencies; local businesses; civic groups such as las Amigas, Lions Club, Rotary, Sfarp and anyone else interested in contributing.
